Art is greater than the artist! The artist is merely the messenger who brings the ideas from the abyss of thought into the world. That is my approach to art. Although while I may only be the messenger, I certainly vet the ideas that want to be brought forward. While I have art inside me that ranges throughout the possible spectrum of everything one might consider art, I limit myself to mostly 3D design since that is what I am best at bringing into reality with the precision imagined in my head.

I am inspired by many styles, and yet the most influencial ones are the scandinavian style (i.e. clean, simple, elegant lines, and practical design), and the Bunzlauer style which focuses on practical design, and natural colors with simple floral and abstract patterning. What both these styles have in common is the practicality aspect. I believe that just because something is practical it does mean it has to be ugly. Every object should be its own piece of art. If we are surrounded by beautiful everyday objects, we won’t need to clutter our space with little artsy knick knacks that merely stand around just collecting dust. It also leads people to interact with art rather than simply looking at it. This means art can stimulate more senses than merely our sight.
