I feel like my life is a big piece of art.  All the little details, imperfections, and mayhem makes me feel as though I have been thrown into an exotic art piece myself.  Therefore when making art, I feel as though I like to represent the things that surround me in everyday life, because of how beautiful it is.  My artwork is representative of what I see from my point of view because art allows people to see things from the artist's viewpoint.  

When making my art, I enjoy keeping it simple by using regular ballpoint pens, pencils and occasionally charcoal or black pastel.  I feel that keeping art simple sometimes can be what makes it the most interesting.  

With my art I am able to escape from any stress that may come along with everyday life, and for a short amount of time not need to worry about talking to anyone, messing anything up, or just thinking so hard.  It has become an escape for me that I hope to continue to have access to.
