Everyday I wake up with the intention of making the world a better place. Through my art I hope to elicit emotions that help the viewers to better understand their lives. Truly, my brain works in three dimensions rather than two. I believe that having a piece in the round allows for me to fully express my talent as an artist. Although my passion is in 3-D work, my hands still want to create in 2-D. I always have a sketchbook in my bag because art has healing powers. It can relieve someone of their stresses and help them move forward in their life. Art has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and I hope that the viewers of my work can see into my life as a result. Collectively, all of my pieces show who I am and how I have evolved over time. I want my work to hang in people’s minds, just like their own personal memories from daily life. My 2-D art is meant to leave the viewer with questions… questions that only the artist can answer. Overall, in my world art just happens. Something as simple as a small doodle in the corner of a notebook can evolve into something beautiful. The beauty that surrounds us, I take it as a challenge to use it as inspiration to create my work. I am always growing as an artist and I hope to inspire others in the future.
